Developed by Colorado’s Marmot Library Network, Pika features intuitive searching capabilities; exceptional record grouping that allows patrons to easily identify material formats; browsing categories to simulate the in-person, new book shelf experience; and responsive interface design that works on any device. Branded for each LION member library, Pika simplifies and enhances the discovery and borrowing process for patrons.

LION knows library technology. As part of your LION membership, you can count on fast, dependable IT support on your library’s schedule. We have expertise in integrated library systems, email and web hosting, printing and scanning, self-checks, wireless technology, security cameras, and other products that are essential to your operations. LION also provides consulting services for building projects and special initiatives.

LION uses Innovative Interface’s Sierra as its integrated library system. Hosted by Amazon Web Services, member libraries have the assurance of greater business continuity and data security.

As part of LION membership, libraries receive website hosting and email services, including library-specific email addresses. 

Resource Sharing Delivery Service

Looking to improve interlibrary loans for your patrons? LION operates its own delivery service to expedite borrowing among its members. With regular deliveries and rapid turnaround times, patrons can count on receiving their material in a timely manner.

Cataloging/Bibliographic Management

LION provides quality control for the consortium’s bibliographic database. Maintaining the standards set by member catalogers ensures high patron satisfaction when locating and requesting material.

LION offers a number of consortium-wide digital collections. Our Overdrive eBook holdings consist of over 20,000 copies, while our Overdrive eAudio collection contains over 11,000 copies. LION also subscribes to Overdrive eMagazines, which offers patrons access to 3,485 individual titles.
